In General Tab, Filter Rules: (mailnickname=*) In General Tab, Filter Rules: (&(mailNickname=*)(legacyExchangeDN=/O=ExchangeName/OU=Domain/*)) We have 2 recipient policies, one set with highest priority and the other set to lowest.Į-Mail Addresses (Policy) = Generation Rules: SMTP & X400 (are selected). Typically what happens is that someone checked a space while in the "1 hour" view, which actually fills in all four spaces for that hour. If four spaces in a row are filled, it will start at each of those 15-minute times. Each one of the spaces filled in indicates a start time. You'll see a table indicating the start times for Mailbox Management. The first field, "Start mailbox management process:" indicates the schedule. In the ESM, look at the properties of the server named and go to the Mailbox Management tab. That is what is generating the report you're seeing. Within each Recipient Policy, there is a setting that indicates what happens - choices include Delete Immediately and Generate Report Only. So, if the policy doesn't match any mailboxes, then zero mailboxes processed makes complete sense. In other words, it takes effect only if none of the other policies matches. * The Default Recipient Policy is configured to be "Lowest", and matches all AD objects. Once an object matches one of the policies, it stops checking against the lower priority policies. * The priority value of each Recipient Policy indicates the order in which they are applied. * Every object in AD is affected by exactly one Recipient Policy. * Recipient Policy scope is done via LDAP query. * Mailbox Management is configured via Recipient Policy. We have several mailboxes so ‘Mailboxes Processed’ could not be 0.

I do not recall setting up the mailbox manager to send reports, but regardless, was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me why they could all completing in 1 second and have 0 as the value for all fields. I have received 4-5 this evening within a span of 1 hour. We seem have started getting these messages and it looks like they are speeding up.
